clicking sound from engine on 1.8T (not valves or lifters)...diagnosis please?

Default clicking sound from engine on 1.8T (not valves or lifters)...diagnosis please?
I have a 99.5 1.8TQSTip with 27k miles. I have a noise coming from my engine bay that I've never heard people discuss on this board before (yes, tried searching also). It is not the valve chatter or lifters, but rather it is some clicking sound coming from the front of the car. It sounds as if it is coming from the fan/belts area. I am thinking it might be a bad bearing in the fan or something? I hear it on cold starts an it takes some driving at at least 5 minutes or so to go away. Any ideas would be appreciated. Default I'm not sure, but when I experienced something similar, it was actually because my engine oil level
was low.

Default Here's what my ticking was...
I had a ticking problem on my car and I couldn't figure out what the heck it was.....anyway it turned out to be a loose spark plug!! Yes that's right...so i would make sure they are all nice and tight and see if that solves it.

Default something on top of the airbox clicks when the car is idling.
My friends does the same thing, check there.
