Climate Control Panel

Some of the buttons on the radio/climate control panel either stick when i push them in or can't be pushed in at all. And sometimes it'll lock on to one setting and hitting the off button doesn't work for a while. I'm not sure exactly what the issue is but I wasn't sure if this is known to happen or not. Idk if the previous owner spilled some coffee or something but how much would it cost, roughly, to get something like that fixed. would they have to do some rewiring or just install a new panel? Kinda unsure about the situation but any words of advice are appreciated.

my wife always has some spills with her coffee in the dash holder. I've had some good luck with spraying a little electronics cleaner and using a small detailing brush.
