Default Why would the noise stop? How much am I looking at if need be?

Will my wheel fall off? What will I feel or hear if this is the issue?
Thanks

by the way I did do a search, so much info on it and no time to narrow it down...thanks again

Default No, your wheel won't fall off.

when the bushing, at the end of the control arm, wears it makes noise.

As long as the rubber boots are not torn, the arm is still functional, but annoying. Most people wind up replacing the offending arm to silence it.

When the Boot tears and stuff gets in there and the grease flushes out, it will wear faster.

I just replaced one on Saturday. I've replaced 5 of my 8 front control arms...

Default Yup. Trick now is to find out which one is making the noise.

Replacement parts can be found at ECS for quite a bit less than dealer.

About half way down the page on this link.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=1.8T&amp;mod el=B5%20A4&amp;submodel=Quattro&amp;category=Suspe nsion">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=1.8T&amp;mod el=B
