I took my 96 A4 2.8Q to a buddy who is a mechanic and he hooked up his snap-on computer to my car and we pulled up 2 codes.
The first is 16534 bk2 s1
The second is 16514 bk1 s1
They both have to deal with o2 sensors. My buddy does not work on Audi's so he couldnt give me much info.

16534 P0150 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank2-Sensor1 Malfunction
16514 P0130 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1 Malfunction
