coilover adjust !!
i have a set of kw v-3 coilovers on my 99.5 1.8t a4.. i have a question about adjusting the rebound.right now if i want to adjust the rebound which is on the top of the shocks..i need to take out the whole coilover in order to adjust it, the place where i got my coilovers told me that i can drill some holes for adjustment so that i don't need to take out the coilover everytime. i wonder if this is true and did anyone tried this before so i know what should i do..it will be great if you have pics then i can show the shop how to do it.. thanks a lot... by the way i am located in bay area so if anyone can give me a hand or show me how they did it will be great !!

What does you coilover look like?
If you know for a fact that you have to push the shock shaft all the way down. I don't see how cutting anything would make it possible to fully compress the shock shaft. When it's still installed. Maybe the guy was thinking stasis co's. I've seen their koni's where you can put a wrench on the shock and adjust rebound and compression, iirc. Those people cut a slot in the rear shock tower to fit a wrench in.
I'm only familiar for K&W's v.2 I had to full compress my shock shaft to adjust rebound.

for pic you can go to www.kwsuspension.com and hit V-3..
i am not using a wrench to adjust my rebound.. i use a **** which is purple color to adjust the rebound.. and the place to adjust is on the top of the shocks..and you can't see them because a4 dosn't have a strut top.
for v-2 bound and rebound is adjust together.. but for v-3 bound and rebound is seperate..
