Default Coilovers too tight... Need advice

I purchased a set of H&R Coilovers (regular) and I can take turns at speeds I never thought possible according to the laws of physics. However, I feel every damn crack in LA (and not the good kind of crack). I'm looking for a spring/coil combo that is much softer but still "sporty". Anybody have any ideas?

Default 225x40 18

I know the profile doesn't help the ride quality but I'm keeping the wheels/tires because they look awesome!

Default Well, it's a function of your wheels and the suspension.

Aftermarket suspensions are usually pretty good on smooth or undulating pavement, but the shocks are often too firm to give you a smooth ride on any kind of broken pavement, like the cracks you mention.

If you really don't like it, your best bet is to go back to stock. I had Eibachs and Bilsteins before this. The Eibachs were very soft, and the Bilsteins were not. I still felt broken pavement, just as much as I do with the coilovers.

Default hmmm.....know anyone with 17's you could swap with for a couple hours?.......

Just to try them out.

If the 17's cure your woes, I think I'd rather have the coilovers with 17's than the 18's.

low profile tires are notorious for harsh rides

Well, I've got to change something soon or I'll go crazy. What's a softer combo that rides on the low side?
