Default Cold Starting Problems (2.8L V6).....<Long>

Here's the situation:

I started my car a few mornings ago (30F - 40F temps outside) and it went into it's normal high idle at 1,200RPM for about a minute.

When it kicked down to it's normal idle of 800RPM the engine just cut out and died.

Restarted no problem. Started driving to a job site and was going up hill and the engine "hickuped" (stutterd briefly) and the CEL flashed briefly and then it was fine.

Two days ago I started my car in the AM (40F temp) and it did the same thing as previous and just died on me. I tried restarting and it just cranked and cracked. i pumped the gas a few times and it finally started. I drove away and the idle was bouncing around 400-650RPM for a little while until the car warmed up.

Recent DTC's I pulled/cleared with VAG-COM were:

18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30 - Voltage Too Low - Intermittent

17537 - Fuel Trim Bank 2 - System Too Rich - Intermittent

17535 - Fuel Trim Bank 1 - System Too Rich - Intermittent

17549 - Load Calulation Cross Check - Implausible Value - Intermittent

01274 - Air Flow Flap Position Motor - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent

01206 - Signal for Duration of Ignition - Off Time - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

00787 - Temperature Sensor in Fresh Air Duct - Open or Short to Plus (NOTE: This one reappeared after Clearing DTC's twice)

Any thoughts on what is going on making my car die out like that?

Thanks.

Thanks. Did it just die on you outright at one point?

Default Yup: I could get it to fire up same as you, by feathering the go pedal

but no idle.

And, I was at the Glen

Looks like I'll be dropping Carson a line to see what new MAF will cost.

There must be a write-up in the FAQ....

Default If you haven't already, replace the coolant temp sensor.

Cheap, easy, and prone to failure.
