Default confusion about Eibach springs

what is the exact equivalent of Eibach springs that are sold through audi catalog.. what are they called online? can you even get those identical online, or do you have to overpay 100$ and get them through audi only?

Default Just buy Eibach's somewhere else. A little searching you could find a good price, or...

look in the classifieds here. I am sure if you are buying it from audi they will charge you a premium. Just like a battery that I called about today. $$125. Going with the interstate that the dealer sells, they even told me the only reason they stock OEM batterys is for warrenty.

Default I dont think they are the same.......

I think maybe the audi ones are special made for audi by Eibach. Eibach also makes sport springs of varying types that you can read about on their web site www.eibach.com. Clair parts has somewhat decent prices for audi OEM stuff on the web.

Default yah, the ones on eibach website are called the PRO kit, i dunno if it's the same as the audi catalog

regular price in audi catalog is 350, clair parts is like 280, but i found the pro kit online someplace for 224, that's a big difference, i just need to know if they're all the same spring.

Default U have stock shocks or stock sport shocks???

Eibachs have a lower spring rate than H&R or others
If you get eibachs, U should get aftermarket shocks, bilstein or koni

Default non sport, the whole point of this topic was that audi sells those springs in the catalog

and dont' require other shocks.

Default well that's not true

Those springs are a "performance" upgrade and that immediately puts a pre-requisite of sport suspension on your car. If you have OEM sport, those springs are fine. They won't destroy the OEM sport shocks.

But if your OEM non-sport, those shocks will turn to **** REAL fast.
