Considering Intrax/Koni setupThoughts? Comments? . Anyone have??Qualms? Koons?....
I've been quoted $700 from SPP for the Intrax/Koni setup for my 2.8 A4 Quattro. how much better or different is it than the Bilstein/Eibach kit?
Can you please describe any problems, likes, dislikes, or heard of many problems with this?
Thanks.

Love it, love it, love it, love it, love it, love it, love it, love it...
the ride is a lot more comfortable than I expected...even with 18" wheels, but the performance is GREAT.
I also like the ride height...it's lower than the Eibachs but not as low as, say H&R Race Springs. There are no ground clearance issues (curbs, etc).
I'm really thrilled with the way this suspension has been treating me. I say go for it.

semi happy with mine....
I have a 1.8T front trak, and for some reason my front never really dropped as much as advertised. The rear looks like it should (about one finger gap) but the front has 2.5 finger gap. Ground to fender measurement in the rear is 25.25" which is perfect for me. In the front it is about 26.25" which is probably what you should have with H&R sport prings which in my opinion are no lower than stock sport springs. My hunch is that the spring perches on the Koni front shocks are set a little higher than the spring perches from my stock OEM sport shocks... thus negating the drop I should have gotten with the Intrax springs.
However, Eric at SPP is sending me another new set of Koni shocks with custom grooves cut in them (like the Bilsteins) so I can lower the spring perch setting and get the perfect ride height.
As for the ride... I set the Koni's about 50% stiffness and they are mostly comfortable, however over sharp bumps it can be a little harsh... but not brutal. I might dial them back a bit just for a little added comfort over rough roads. However I do enjoy the handling... It rides like a sports car and is VERY tight and flat in corners.... especially with my 17x8 rims.

Most people who have driven both think the Intrax is way too soft compared to H&R Sport. But...
they do drop more. I've never heard of anyone changing from H&R/Bilstein, but I have heard of people switching from Intrax/Koni to H&R. The spring rates of the H&Rs are definitely higher, and they are really quite linear, which is better for the track, IMHO.
