Continue modding? or stop and move on...?
-wait, you would need dads permission first..lol
PS- Your car is hot...I'm leaving mine as is and getting a Bike....a "stg 3" that doesn't depreciate as much. but a bit more dangerous.
You only live once...
If you are willing to have a sedan as a toy, then keep your A4 and keep modding it as your toy, and then pick up something for a care-free daily.
Im picking up a Mazda 3-5 door to have that daily beater, while the Miata gets all the trimmings...its the perfect duo.
Now if you are going to only go with one car, and you yearn for serious performance, then dump the A4 and get an EVO/STI/Legacy GT...thus you start with a far superior performance platform at the sacrifice of some serious build quality/interior fit and finish. Instead of putting 5k+ into the powertrain you could transform the interior to your liking (of course after a Vishnu Stage2 setup).
So now to play devil's advocate:
The nice thing about the A4 is that is really is the complete package with a big turbo on it, quick, handsome, well made with class. Sure its a little slower than a modded STI/EVO but it makes up for that with serious qualitative upgrades.
Your car also has already suffered the bulk of its depreciation, so you might as well keep the beast you know and love for the long term.
Finally, i have always felt modified cars are special. Any slack jawed yokel can buy an STI and be fast...but how many big turbo A4s do you see? Very cool to have the sleeper effect.
