controller arm question... (post below got me worried)

Default controller arm question... (post below got me worried)
when installing my suspension the other day i had to bash the front controller arms pretty hard to get things back together. you think this will effect them??

Default Nahh....I usually give them a few taps with a mallet there too.
Just so long as you didn't visibly damage them.

Default we replaced control arms this past weekend, and had to bang em too
no problems so far.

Default Banged on em until we paid attention to how they were lined up
Once we made sure they were going in straight, they tapped right in.
