Coolant Leak, take a look!
Hey Guys,
I know there have been a few posts like this before, but I wasn't totally for sure if my coolant leak would fall on the others. A few of you others who had coolant leaks had them right around the oil filter, while mine is down near the oil cooler. I'm thinking/hoping its just the hose and not the oil cooler. Can anyone confirm or maybe suggest what to do? Also the Part # I got for that particular hose is 058-121-058B if anyone can verify that for me I would appreciate it! I guess that's please let me know what you guys think from the pics, thanks!

Same problem. Mostly likely oil cooler lines.
I changed out the lower line about 3 weeks ago. Mine leaked and dripped into the same location as your.
From the looks of things it's not a major leak, probably accumulated over time. I'd first try to get some decent hose clamps to see if that helps. My lower line got soft over time and I had to replace it after attempting to stop the leak with new clamps.
The picture above seems to show you have a leak around the end of the lower cooler line.

judging by the angle of the oil filter, it must be a 1.8? I have a 2.8 and the water pump is above the filter (sorta) and it started to fail and leaked coolant down he front of the engine. It might find it's way to where your photo shows. Do you hear any grinding sound from the engine? On the 2.8, the water pump is driven by the timing belt so a freezeup can be expensive.
