Default CV Boot problem
My '96 A4 FWD has been going through CV Boots. Both have gone in the first 48,000 miles. What's up with this?

Default question for you...
i have replaced my boots once... how many times have you had to so far??

The joints are fine on mine... just the boots were torn... i took them to a machine shop in tampa and they slapped some new boots on them and i never had any more problems... the car even drove smoother.

Default One of mine went at 70K and the other at 80K
I have a 97. It's probably a combination of time and mileage, but I think they wear out on any car.
