The damned addiction called Turbo-love (my A4)
My GF has been telling me that i need to buy a new dress watch for the office, and i agree that i do. Ive been putting it off because, frankly, i don't think i can afford one. Yet i just ordered a bailey valve and a Borla exhaust, which total around 600, which can buy a pretty nice dress watch.
Granted ive waited since spring before getting the exhaust, but still, car expenditures never seem unworthy, but other stuff does at times. I bought two suits last weekend, and all i could think was that for the same money, i could have have bought 17's and tires. Now i enjoy and need good suits, but still...
I just got off the phone with Summit, ordering the Borla, i swear if the carried the Eurosport springs, i would have told them to "throw em in the box"
Oh well, i guess it comes down to what you love. I love cars, and urgently want to finish the mods on my car. It may seem lame/petty, but im so tired of my car looking stock, i want to proclaim to others my enthusiasts nature.
When i daydream, its about modding the car, chanting in my head over and over the mod list that ive had for the past 4 years (when i first noticed the A4 and Jet's A4 page). Its so damned nice to shorten the list as things get done.
Ill stop rambling, and return you to regularly scheduled programming.
Cheers
