The deal is done, my new car should be in my driveway by early next week....
the car: a 2001.5 A4 1.8T manual, Quattro-Celebration, Cold weather, sport package w/17inch rims. Its silver(the fastest color) with onyx leatherette.
I will be picking it up by Monday or Tuesday of next week depending on when I can get down to Valenti.
and big thanks to Mark Pogers for going out of his way to help me out with this deal. He sent the info for the car i wanted to his salesman, Mark Natter at Valenti Motors in CT, and they found me a car in 5 minutes. i was told by other dealers (Mohegan Lake Motors) that such an equipped car could not be found within 500 miles.
I cant wait until i pick it up....my 98 will be gone by next week....
the mods begin soon...

i went back w/my friend who picked up his S4 today, and i had a nice talk with the head of sales...
i asked him how come they couldnt find the car and he had no answer for me, so i told him congratulations on losing a sale. he did however admit that Valenti is giving me a better deal, and that they couldnt match it. do NOT go to MLM
