dealer told me i need all my belts replaced on my 97 1.8tq w/37500 how much/is it hard???????

Cost to replace timing belt, tensioner and serpentine belts came to $560 at a local shop (Autosport Werks). Try to find an independent mechanic/shop to do the work if you don't plan on doing it yourself- The dealer will charge way too much for the same job (was quoted $980 for the same job from my local Audi Service dept).

Hopefully you can find a good reputible shop close by.
