decreasing boost.. help!
i had an exhuast leak (cat to dp gets disconnected because i scrape a lot). i went to get that fixed and the guy had to take the cat off. when i got the car back it wasnt boosting as much (12-13psi) and right before i got home i went into limp mode. i took it over to WMS and they cleared it. unfortunetly i didnt save the codes(dumb mistake number 1). after clearing it it went back into semi-limp mode (anywhere from 10-13psi). same nite went to a meet and cleared the codes again and didnt save them...again(dumb mustake number 2).
so i took the car to eurotech and had him check it out. the codes he got had somehting to do with the o2 sensor and my maf was giving out wierd numbers. we switched both out and the car ran stronger but still low on boost(12-13). he did a pressure check and no leaks, he also put in a new check valve. nothing helped with the boost.
everytime i fill up with gas i see 10-12 psi untill i drive hard then ill see 12-13psi. over the past week the boost has slowly decreased. right now im only boostign 5-7psi, last nite it was 9-11. it doesnt feel like its in limp mode but the power isnt there also. i dont know if that makes sense to any of you. what can be the problem? is my turbo on its way out?? it all started after fixing the exhaust leak.

If the tranny/torque converter is going kaput, it will lower the requested load, and thus you will not generate boost.
If you have a VAG-COM in your area. Go log the following:
MAF -It could just be your BPV (but doubtful based on your description)
Engine load - During a WOT gear pull. You should see it hit 100% or near it, and hold until you let off the throttle
...and check for codes again
Also you may just want to check your wastegate actuator to make sure it is tight
