Default DID I GET SCAMMED?

I took my car in to get a full allignment because i put in a set of coilovers. My biggest concern was the front because my yokohama tires have been burning out twice as fast on the inside tread. On his computer it said the front left and front right cambers were -1.6 (right) and -1.5 (left) degrees.
He fu@ks around under the car for like 15 minutes and comes up and tells me that the front cambers cant be adjusted and im stuck with what i got.

Is he full of ****?

Default He's correct. You need these to adjust camber.

There's also a company that sells eccentric bushings, but I forgot the name.

Default K-MAC, they are kind of a pain and make a little noise at first.

Also heard that aftermarket replacement control arms don't work with them. I had to make the hole a little bigger on mine where I took out the factory rubber bushing.

Default be prepared for some noise with those

if not maintained those heim joints will start to "click" after a few thousand miles

Default "some noise" is an understatement.

I lube mine every 5k to keep them relatively quiet.

Default That isn't too bad. If you are wearing the inside of the tires w/ only 1.5- 1.6 degrees of camber it

is likely that the toe was out .. and you aren't cornering hard enough to wear 'em flat

Default LOL! I'll attest that I can be a TAD picky...

...but you know it's bad when your friends in the car asks, "What the hell is that sound?" every time I turn the wheel

The A4 is treatin' me well. I'm getting the itch for a little extra oomph, but sadly, that'll have to wait.

For now, it's just basic maintainance. Still oh so fun to drive. This car is definitely a keeper.

From the looks of your sig, you've been busy.
