Did some not so emprical testing on braking
Did it at night - kinda warm tires up before
running summer tires
brembo 4 pots from boxster, hawks, ss lines in front only, powerslot A8 rotor
complete stock rear with oem pads
without abs - cuz it is broken like aways
did a 40 to 0 stop didn't want to try 60 because don't want to get a flat spot on the tire
did a old fashion panic stop - amazingly the brakes didn't lock up
got the car down to a stop in around 35 feet kinda of used my foot as a measuring tape
reason is because I heard the back likes to lock up without abs and because no bias valve

Did some more pseudo-research on the diffrence of 40 to 60
seems every 20 mph at that weight adds about 80 more feet - so I would est my 60-0 braking would be about 120 feet.
sports car like Porsche and Corvette stop around 120-100 from 60-0 guess I am pretty good without abs as long as I don't lock up.

Jebuss man, fix the thing! It will affect the panic stopping more... --->
The rears are seeing more work than designed for and will over heat/wear faster. The brakes WILL function much better with the ABS properly working. At minimum instal a proportioning valve in there to send more power to the fronts.
I ran mine without the ABS for a few days and the difference is pretty noticeable back to back. If you never had it then it would seem fine... it isn't.
Overall I am old-school and don't actually *really* like ABS for what it's worth, but in this case with these cars it's a very good thing.
That said: Upgrading the front brakes while keeping the stock rears and not using the ABS will have a similar effect as a proportioning valve (sort of)....... but it will still work better IMHO with the ABS system up and running.
