Difficulty getting into First gear.
I occasionally have trouble getting into first gear from neutral when the car is at a standstill. The feeling through the shift level is like the ends of the teeth of the two gears are hitting rather than meshing. The only way to get into gear is to release the clutch slightly to get the gear on the engine side to turn slightly, thus allowing the gears to mesh. Anyone else with this problem??????

thats better than having problems getting on to 1st base. :o)
do you keep your clutch down at lights...if so it could have burnt out the fly wheel. I did that the first time I had a stick many years ago...many many years ago

hmmm..prolly best to go to a shop, the internet is not the best place to get input on a problem with
your car. Its more of a place for opinions on products, and info on where and how to get stuff and mods, a least thats MHO on the message boards
