Do 17" Rims make the audi a4 look like a "Monster truck"? Do they leave that horrible gap?

Living in Maine may make it ok, but having the suspension in the box in the garage is bad...
Not having time to install is even worse. Brakes (bigger and better--also in boxes already) are getting done this summer so it will happen soon. ;-)
