Do a4's has "external" intercoolers???

I know that.. i want to get a NX "NTERCOOLER" and it says it wil only work if my car has an external
intercooler...
BTW an Ntercooler sprays no2 to the intercooler lowering intake temps

under those criteria yes the intercooler is external
i've seen the unit your talking about. i think a mister would be more effective. go to search type " ic mister". p.s. don't use nitrois if you get the ntercooler use CO2. nitrois could cause fire.

yup pretty much...
They just odnt want like subaru guys spraying it under the hood. Ous is in lower drivers side in the bumper.
Not sure if I'd really want to spray it on the stock IC with plastic end tanks. Seems like it could lead to a leaky or cracked stock IC. Maybe get a nicer all welded core then freeze that bad boy up. Seems better then spraying plastic.
