Do any of you have any experience with the front doors rusting beneath the hinge!!?

Do any of you have any experience with the front doors rusting beneath the hinge!!?
My stereo installer cut metal (without my permission) to fit the front speakers, so I'm pretty sure that that is the cause. But I wanted to make sure before I went to talk to them.
A 1 year old car is not suppose to rust, much less an Audi. Thanks for your help in advance...
