What kind of deal.. ?? Cause you can get a DVD drive for a lap-top if you got one for about $300.. Much bigger screen and versitility..

I think an LCD is the only ting that looks normal in the huge DIN opening and you have to spend that kind of change on one, so if it happens to be a DVD unit, even better, although the practical use of it is very limited.

IMHO, wait for the 2002 A4 OnStar system. 99.5 and up systems ARE upgradeable to this system and it's supposed to be AMAZING. It features voice activated internet, although the voice activiation may not be available in upgrades, only the 2002 cars. But in any event, this may look more like stock then an aftermarket screen, and be more useful.

The SONY one I am getting is $800, no DVD. It's on the expensive side but it works with my system and the screen is big and crisp.
