Talk to your service manager. See what he/she says.

From what one dealer told me, if you have a problem, and they do diagnostic on car and find aftermarket chip, you are on your own!

Default Yes and no

This has been brought up many times before, but the answer is that it only voids the warranty for failures/breakdown that are caused by the modification itself.

Just remember, what a &quot;manager&quot; &quot;says&quot; can change from one to another and isn't binding on AoA

Default Took my car in for first service and not a word.

3" Turbo back system, K-04 upgrade, lowered, wheels etc etc.<br>They are even changing the bypass valave under warranty to fix the graoning noise described in the FAQ.

it certainly could. i would strongly urge that you inform your dealer that you plan to chip the car before you purchase the car; many dealers will agree to a don't ask/tell policy and will simply service the car as if it hasn't been chipped. as an additional protection, should you have a major breakdown it might be a good idea to go back to stock before you bring the car in.
