Default Wrong, Jetta is on the A4 chassis, but it doesn't share a chassis with the A4

Default Here are the answers for all of you!

Geez-O-Flip. The New Jetta IS an "A-4" chasis. But probably not in the same respect that you "A-4" guys are thinking. The New ('99) Jetta and Golfs are called A-4's. The 93-98 are called A-3's. The 85-92 are called A-2's and the 75-84 are called A-1's. Now that we've cleared that up. The bolt pattern is 5x100 the same as the last generations VR-6 cars, the new Beetle and YES the TT. Audi and the Passat have a 5x112 bolt circle. I hope this helps you and clears up this matter for others.

Jetta is built on 4th generation of VWAG's smallest chassis, known as the "A" chassis; therefore it is called the "A4" chassis. The A4 model is built on their "B" chassis, which is the next size up, as is the Passat
