Does anyone make an exhaust for me?

I have a 2001 A4 1.8t fwd tip and am looking for a good performance exhaust (ie borla). Does anyone know where I can find one? Everyone I see is for quattro. Borla says they make one for a 2000 fwd, but are reluctant to sell it because they say they don't know if it will work on my car. Is the same exhaust used for all FWD 1.8ts (man and tip)? Should this borla work?

manual and tip systems are different, i believe borla is the only one that makes an FWD tip system

Borla does not. They have quattro systems only

For FWD tip your options are:

Any FWD exhaust does does NOT have a downpipe. This includes the Scorpian and others.

I think you may be able to get the neuspeed borla which is made for FWD 5spd and then then just not install the downpipe. Everything else should be the same.

Or do what I did and go custom. 2.5" system, downpipe back, around $400 installed. Very nice.
