...for some brake and suspension components, etc. Driving your car in rain and spraying the undercarriage with fresh water after driving on salted snow is good prevention. Takes a lot to rust an Audi though; believe me! :-)

The salt is from the road which is used to melt the snow and ice, not from the snow itself.

My former car, now owned by my cousin, has been through 5 New England winters and is showing no signs of any ill affects from the salt and sand used on the roads, I expect the same from my Audi.
