Door Lock Pump making funny nouse, need help finding Part
So my door lock pump located in the rear trunk of the car has been acting up. It can't build up enough pressure to unlock the driver door, then all the passenger doors consecutively. I have to wait for it to "charge" up as the vacuum seems to have lost pressure.
I removed the pump yesterday and I can hear it overworking. I do not believe any of the red vacuum lines are leaking. I believe the pump itself is faulty.
Stealership quoted me $780 to replace. Ridiculous!
Anyone know where I can find a replacement pump so I can fix myself? Or just the part # and I can search on my own. Thanks in advance.
Been awhile since I've been on the forum, but still love my car!
I see one on eBay, but not my year, MY00.
Kind of funny really, a pump that old and used should substantially outlast newer incarnations.

The one thing that wasn't really covered in those instructions was what pump I could use. Comparing the pump pics to the pump in my old 200 and then rummaging a junkyard, saw just how universal that pump setup is. Pretty much every VW and Audi with a vacuum driven central locking system uses it.

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec149.shtml</a
