There is a small spring inside that wore out and finally broke in my a4

I N**** rigged it and it works fine. You can prolly get them at the dealer for under $5

Just ordered one today from Princeton Audi ($30.94). This may include the interior code on our car which is light gray(EC).

The spring is part of a sub assembly for $30 and not sold separately, ask me how I know.
