Default DTC 17965...anyone?

Charge Pressure Control Positive Deviation 35-10 Intermittent.

this is a stage 3 non-dbw car...I'll be calling APR today, but anyone seen this?

I searched the archives, but it's all over the map...and no one ever positively identified and corrected one specific issue.

I've only had a neg deviation dtc when my BPV was leaking. I'd check the vac line from the boost freq valve to the wastegate and the compressor first. If one of these leaks it won't be able to open up the wastegate fast enough and cause you to have too much boost for too long. Do you have a boost gauge?

Default yup...blitz dual turbo timer/boost gauge...

even has peak hold...

There have been a couple of 21.7psi spikes, but mostly it only spikes to 20psi.

I'll check the bfv...maybe it's dying.

hmmm doesn't seem like boost is too high.

It shouldn't be the BPV. you said it's positive boost dev so it means you're getting too much boost. If the BPV leaks then you'd get the neg boost dev code.

Default bfv..freq valve...

oh wait...here's a question...

When we originally put the kit in (DonP & I), I had the BFreqvalve backwards and we got 25 and 26 psi.

I pulled the ECU to reset it, but would DTC's stay stored? I just now got the vag-com software working, so I hadn't checked the codes before.

I think I'll reset the DTC's and see if they show up again.
