So I installed the EBay B&M knockoff. First off I must say that I LOVE IT. Makes the car much more enjoyable to drive. I've already gotten used to it, and drove my mom's 5 spd cabrio for a quick run and realized how short it really is.

ANYWAY, the question is...

What do I need to do to adjust the throw. The forward shifts (1,3,5,) seem to be a good throw, however the back shifts (2,4,R) are a SHORTER throw than the forward shifts. What do I need to do in order to center this out. It should be possible right?

All gears engage properly and would be fine without it, it's just something I notice and little things bug me.

the allen bolt that connects on the shift arm.. move it... closer to the front..

with that configuration, the backward throws felt shorter than the forward throws, but when I watched my shifts, they looked equal. The shifter sits straight up and down in neutral, so that works for me.
