are you running from the line-level outs, or the speaker outs

you should be running from the line level outs from the back of the headunit... then letting the bose take care of the amplification.

We wired this from the line level out...

Seems that the BOSE gear didn't want to play nice with the aftermarket shtuff. Once the impedance adaptor was installed inline, it seemed to help a little once adjusted (which I did last night), but it seems that certain types of bass hits will cause distortion now- *some* bass will sound fine, but it's only certain kinds of beats that sound funky. I'll most likely tinker with this some more throughout the week and probably into the weekend.
