ECU coding & swapping
I had recently traded my A4 in for an A6 but i kept most of the aftermarket parts including the APR chipped ecu.
The APR chipped ECU from my old A4 was labeled 4B0 906 018 BG which I see APR shows as a 2000 DBW which is correct. I have a local guy here that wants to buy the ecu but he has a 2001 quattro (mine was FWD) and his ECU is labeled 4B0 906 018 CH
Anyone know if this is possible with some recoding of the chipped ECU (if needed?) with my VAG? Not sure if there were significant changes between 2000 and 2001 models that would make this impossible?
