Default ECU Question

I have a bone stock 97 A4 Quattro Auto 1.8T. I took the part number from the ecu since I plan to chip it (probably APR). The ECU part number is 8D0 907 557 h.

I searched all over and have not seen an "h" suffix before. Has anyone else? Is this unit compatible with similar numbers ending in P, or N ?

Can anyone provide any information?
Thanks very much for your help.

Default I've never heard of a 557H. I think 557Ps are compatible with all 97-99.5 1.8Ts

so you could always go the route of buying a new ECU box already chipped instead of sending yours off, and you can sometimes find them for sale in the classifieds <cough> see my sig <cough>
