electrical issues...
My 2k a4 has suddenly started thinking the driver's door is open when it's not (I have to slam the door to fix it), the cd player has been touchy, shutting off and then back on, sometimes the cd display on the instrument panel doesn't show up, and.sometimes the horn doesn't beep when I lock the car. This all happened at once. Has anybody had a similar problem? What did you do to fix it?

I'd say the electric switch on the driver side door is shot
That explains the problem with the door and the horn. Is the dome light behaving oddly, too?
