Electrical problem when switching ignition ON
When I turn the ignition ON without starting the engine I get this fast click-click relay going on and off (Like a turning signal but faster) coming from the fuse panel area. From the outside of the car I can hear the fuel pump going ON and OFF at the same rate. The car runs fine but takes longer crank than before to start. Anybody had this problem? I´m out of warranty so I would like to avoid the dealer. Which one is the fuel pump relay?

It might depend on your engine, but for the 1.8T, the fuel pump relay is in position 6 of the relay panel. It might have J17 on it.
