Engine missfires...

Hi!

I am having trouble with a missfiring engine. After disconnecting the battery for a while, the car was then missfiring alot for a few miles. It´s now better but it is still missfiring when I step of the accelerator and then on it again. I have had this problem for a while. I have cleaned the Maf, replaced the airfilter (stock), the car is not chipped. What whould I do next? Any thoughts?

i had misfire problems but its not what tgjl said...

i have a harness issue cause i got codes from injectors too... but its most likely that ignition control thing...i had that go last summer.

Are you getting any codes other then misfire?

Yes, I would suspect that it's the output stage that tgjl linked. It's also in my sig...

there have been some recent posts on this. Search in the last couple weeks.

Thanks! Will try that. I have not checked the codes. Will also change the spark plugs to be sure they are okey.
