engine stutter....

was sitting at a stop light today and the engine started to vaguely act like it wanted to stall so i just tapped the throttle a little bit and it stopped. then when the light turned green and i began driving it did it again but more pronounced and the check engine light started flashing, but then after a second or two it stopped and went back to normal.

i replaced all 4 coil packs and spark plugs about 6 months ago for the hell of it so i don't think its a bad plug/pack. Was it probably just a bad bit of gas? Thanks

which plugs?

i picked up NGK BKR7e by accident last week and had a few issues like you mentioned before switching back to the 'warmer' 6e. just a thought.

I'm on my 3rd coil pack in 6 months

They were all new, but they also turned out defective. I pray this next one is not bad too, or I'm going to have to give up on warranty replacements and try buying another one directly from the dealer parts dept.

Get the check engine codes to confirm the multiple-simulanteous misfires are paired across a coil.
