Error Code - Check Engine Light

My check engine light came on for the first time tonight. Wasn't doing anything other than normal driving. I checked it with my friends PocketLogger and the error code said "Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected" What does that mean? I have a 2000 A4 1.8TQ, does anyone have any ideas?

as far as i can determine.

only reference i find is air injection at cold start. to reduce emmisions. if so it's not a big problem. if under 50K mi. should be covered.

Probably just the intake hose came off of the SAI pump. Very common.

tgil is correct, the SAI pump is used during the cold start, to pump air to behind the exhaust valves, to lean out the exhaust that is generated by the rich run condition at this time.
