Euro lights--What are advantages besides clear?
I was considering purchasing a pair of Euro lights for my silver 1.8T. Is there any advantage to them over the stock ones? Other than the fact it removes that orange corner? Would I just be better off saving the $$ and doing the clear corner mod? Are euro lights the ones that appear to have a bluish tint, or are those xenons? Any info would be great, thanks,
Brett

Re: I thought it would be better for Xenon upgrades since there's a fresnel pattern on the lenses...
I forgot that you get a city light, too, but that was never a huge deal to me anyway. Well, you can get a HID upgrade as well on the stocks he has, so I just don't see too much advantage of having to fork over another $300+/- . The vast majority do it because it just looks cleaner than the OEM w/ amber or, as compared to the DIY, which still looks nice, imo, if done right - only Audi enthusiasts would know that it was a DIY job - but that's only if it matters to you that other Audi folks know.

I went from stock projector and Xenon upgrade to the Euros with Xenon upgrade and it's WAY better.
The lighting from the Euro lights is much better, no matter whether you've gfot halogen bulbs or HID.

The question is, do you think it's $300+/- better? To some this amount of money is nothing, to others it could be the difference of making rent or not...
I guess if you want the best lighting, period, for your A4 w/ HID, and have the money to spend, I guess. Or if you have serious vision problems or need that additional light (?), I guess. But w/ stock fogs in his car and a HID kit with his OEM lows, that just seems more than enough for me or the average driver for that matter....

You can see how they have a sharper beam pattern than the stock US-spec lights that seem to get "fuzzy" at the edges. I wish I had a pic of the stock lights to truly compare them. I'm less than 10 feet from the fence. You can see how well the light travels to the right (and left), so you can see all of the road and off the edge of the road for street signs, intersecting roads, deer, chic walking down the street, etc.
