for evo intake 1.8t, does factory heatshield bolt up to heat shield that comes with intake?

if the PES intake has the same heat shield as their T-28 comes with, it work s pretty well
I've ridden in one of their cars and felt a nice cold intake after tehy flogged the car. Take a look at theirs and ask them if the heat shield is the same. Their T-28 heat shield matches the cotours of the underside of the hood perfectly.

reason i'm asking is cuz i had this...
black metal line that runs parallel with intake. it was originally screwed into the side of the airbox. what i did was run that on the outside of the shield and screwed it into the evo heatshield. it wasn't until after i checked out some other's pics of the evo did i see the audi shield attached as well. not sure if what i did is correct.
