Default familiar sound to us all ....AGAIN......wahwaahwaahwaahgrrgrrrgrrrrrrrr....

Wheel bearing on rh rear started to grind no howling...yet. Last time was dealer installed with an OE VAG bearing ,maybe 20k ago. Time to check into some hub tools. Will the wheel bearing kit for FWD from Harbor Freight work to press in the bearing without buying a Hub Tamer? I also had my favorite winter insulated leather boots split ,time to shop Campmor as well. What else can go wrong???

I think Chris only charges around 200 bones if you want to take the easy way out.

Default I'll think about that but its time for replacing rotors ,pads and work on calipers again

I'd be almost down to the hub anyway. Might just remove it at home on a friday night and take knuckle to work to press out the bearing then put bearing in at home and finish the brake work .

Default Oddly enough, I have one sitting on my dresser with no use at the moment. I also have a front 75mm

that's to be replaced later this week.
