Who's got the fastest 1.8t? Does anybody have any quarter mile times? Will I be able to make my 1.8t spank S4's?

The question is not "how fast can a 1.8t go," the question is "how much money do you want to spend?"

As discussed, you can easily put a 2.5 bar chip in your 1.8t, and even nitrous, and you'll make us look like Dodge Neons. Until your engine blows, which one quattro-list reader said happend to his 1.8t at around 20k mi w/ a 2.5 bar chip.

So, can you make a 1.8t faster than a stock S4? Of course. But can you make it faster than an S4 with similar mods (you don't think we're going to leave our cars unmodified, do you?) ? Of course not. Your biggest advantage will simply be that replacing a 1.8t engine is <b>way</b> cheaper than replacing an S4 engine. Thus, I don't think you'll see too many S4's with "unhealthy" level mods.

They say "quattro & turbo is a great combination"... What about quattro & nitro?

Can an S4 reach RS4 level after extensive modify, say over 400hp with 2 K24 turbochargers?
