Only possible problem is that they do move the injector slightly, if you make sure a clear path to
CC is available w/no obstruction, they are actually very beneficial, especially if daily driven.

nah, ive got no data on the spacer.
'cept my good dyno numbers and my decreasing CAPS times ofver time.
to be honest, i think the biggest benefit is in traffic, preserving the life of the TB/injectors, accuracy of the IAT sensor, with a very minor WOT thermal benefit.

i think they changed their product...they used to use a thin white thermo plastic right?
not sure about now.
but to answer your original question, phenolic is a much different material than the early new south ones.
it basically a filled fiberglass material.
