Financial Mod Advice
Thought I would share this with everyone. I know it is hard not to just buy mods up as fast as you can with your credit card, but I suggest putting $50 a week away and saving for mods. My company has a direct deposit savings option. Its kind of like a christmas account but for my 4 wheel baby. Its a nice surprise when you suddenly have $400 to spend. Real money.
If you want to use your credit card for miles or whatever, you can send the money for the mod to the credit card company in advance and it will be automatically deducted off your next bill. It's better off that way.
PS that should be ontop of the 8-10% you should be saving already for your future, retirement that is, wooooohoooo. That day won't come soon enough. Its nice, you forget about both of them after a while.

Ditto that - If you guys have seen my Gas & Mileage webpage, you'll know how I am with money as well
Long-term, retirement:
~$660/mo to 401k (includes 3% employer match)
~$500/mo to IBM stock (includes 15% discount, plus a better price of 2 dates)
Short-term, house down payment, etc:
$800/mo to Savings
I also set aside money each pay period for:
Cell phone
Gas
Car insurance
Car payment
Other
"Other" is my daily (and mod) spending money.
Yes, I have a spreadsheet for all of the above.
