Default firkin Newark, NJ kicked me in the ***** again - street wheels stolen =(

i kinda got attached to those heavy wheels too =(.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/12079/stolenwheels.jpg">

long story short :
i put on my race tires for testing and heatcycling. left my street wheels on my trailer for a couple of days - i didnt use the special locks i made because it had to go thru the wheels center so i just used a chain with a couple of standard pad locks, strapped everything down with lots of knots. trailer was always covered and in view from apartments.
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/12079/34304082vriziu_ph.jpg">
autox'd today and they were gone when i got home. some old folk neighbors saw the guys hanging around my trailer who definitely took their time undoing the knots i made (straps were undamaged) and breaking 5 padlocks, neighbors said they thought i was one of them =(

anyway, time for new wheels I cant get too far with r-tires =). meanhwhile, if anyone encounters these wheels in the market please let me know. 5x112 wheels can only go on audis/some MBs, dunno about lexus. i've been approached once by some guy selling S4 wheels (at home depot), this would be one way to encounter them.
Thanks!

Hey, from all the NJ horror stories on here, like every day, it prolly wouldn't be overkill.

Default Sorry Ed! :-(

Will keep an eye out here in the classified and on eBay. That really sucks. Any chance you could rig up a camera, and throw out a little "bait" for these little ******? If they are stupid enough to do it once, they will probably do it again.
