Damn. Well the other day i through a few loose coins into the armrest and now a nickel has wedged itself into the hinge that opens the armrest.

Now i can only open the armrest lid half way. The armrest itself can fully move but the lid only opens a little. I have tried using plyers to remove the coin but it is pretty stuck in there.

Any suggestions? How do i remove the armrest?

I have no clue why the orig owner was carrying rocks in there, but anyway...

I got it out by moving the lid up and down, basically hitting the obstruction with the hinge, not enough to jam it in, but to move it around, or vibrate it a little...

then I think I went after it with one of those long grabby things... we call them chinese fingers... and with the aid of a bent coat hanger, it was loosened, and removed...

I had the same problem. I used a chip puller to reach in there and grab the coin

Had to use tweezers to get the coin out.

That was the last time I ever put coins in there.

Thats why I gave up putting small objects in there.

Happenend couple times to me and each time forgot how to take the armrest lid off.

Got another thing in there so need to remember again...
