Front bearing changing HELP PLEASE
Has anyone change there 99.5 A4 front bearing before ? It is dificult to change ? Please help. Too loud. Don't want to burn money at the dealer. I am trying to see if I can change it myself. Does the bearing attach to the hub or the inner assembly.

Pretty big hassle. I winged one (hit a curb during a late season snow storm) and after reading the
Bentley's I had the dealer replace it. The bearing presses into both the hub and the hub 'housing'. It looks like there are a few specialized VAG tools as well.
