Front bumper ends falling off... Just need new clips??
When I bought the car, I was told that the front bumper had been replaced with a new one since the last was backed into by a minivan with a tow hook. It wasnt perfectly aligned to begin with... but since the day I got the timing belt and waterpump replaced (the bumper had to come off) the edges keep popping off. I've been told it was the bumper clips and theyre just "pressed clip fitted" so if they're not holding, I just need new ones. Does this sound right? Lemme know. Thanks,
Rich

Had a similar issue...............
.........with mine.
When reinstalling the bumper some people do not seat the bottom of the clip first and therefore it never seats well. When putting your bumper "ears" onto the clips be sure to seat the bottom first and then holding it there snap the upper clip in.
The atachment is shaped like a "C" on both the bumper and the clip with opposite facing "tabs". After you have heard a solid "click" upon shoving it back in give it a little tug in a direction away from the car. If it is engaged right it should not come unclipped. Beyond that I cannot speak for the damage to your car but, I have a few friends, as well as myself, who managed to have similar issues when reinstalling the bumper so yours may be just a proper seating issue.
